Over the coming months Willmott Dixon Energy Services will be working within communities across Wales to reduce energy bills. The arbed 2 ERDF scheme is a funded 3 year programme aiming to improve the energy efficiency of homes in specific areas across Wales as defined by the Welsh Government. A well insulated home with efficient heating is achievable for most homes.

We are currently working in streets specially selected as part of a European and Welsh government funded project in:

  • Conwy
  • Denbighshire
  • Flintshire
  • Gwynedd

Did you know:

  • Poor insulation means that heat leaks out of your roof, your walls, your windows and doors and even up your chimney.
  • With ever-rising heating bills you need to do as much as you can to stop the heat leasing, otherwise it's like throwing money away.
  • Health problems can be made worse if you don't keep warm enough. If a home is too cold, people of any age with health problems (including babies and the elderly) are at increased risk.

Energy Saving Tip

When cooking choose the right pan size for the food and the cooker, cut food into smaller pieces and put lids on pans as the food will then cook a lot quicker.
